Andrew, Anna Lee, and Sherman Lee took a trip to New England to attend the Folk Alliance. Musicians,  record

labels,  promoters, etc were everywhere. We all fell in with different groups. Andrew turns up with Jack Radcliffe. A career musician starting his own label. One thing led to the other and we were signed. The first act on his label, Wepecket Island Records.

The goal was to produce a CD that captures the music and feel of rural Mississippi.  Using  a guitar, banjo, fiddle, harmonica,  and three part harmony goes without saying.  Everything from Jimmy Rogers blues, The Carter family, Labor song, Gospel songs,  Shape Note style harmony,  and a few originals made it happen.  The Dillonaire’s tours through New England, The Midwest, the East coast , and Canada has enabled them to accumulate a healthy fan base. Grad school, families, and children curtailed their touring,  but they still do special appearances.
